Add New Units to System Menu

 

This screen allows you to:

       Add a new unit to the system. 

 

Before you begin:

Choose the Add New Units to System option from the Utilities Menu.

A new unit must be set-up in the Unit File in File Maintenance before this option is chosen.

Unit level information will be displayed along with the number of Active Units and the number of Units to Add.  This information may be useful in determining whether you need to update your unit count with AMS prior to adding new units to the system.

 

 

Prompt descriptions...

 

[Continue] or [Exit]:

Click [Continue] and the system will automatically add the unit to the system starting at the first year to track which will be displayed.

If adding units causes the system to exceed the number of units allowed a message displays, "The maximum number of units has been reached, please contact Advanced Management Systems, Inc.

Click [Increase] to be prompted for an Access Code to raise the unit level of your RMS.  Advanced Management Systems can issue you an access code to increase your unit level.  Once you have typed in the code, press <Enter>.  Operator’s Initials are required to complete the update.  After the unit count has been increased you may proceed with the utility of adding new units to the system.

Click [Exit] to exit this screen and return to the Utilities Menu.
