Arrival Listing Report

This report is used for...

Reporting the reservations that are arriving within a requested range of dates.  This report is printed on an as needed basis.

The Arrival Listing report is normally printed at the end of the day showing the following day’s arrivals or at the beginning of the day for the current day.  It is often noted on this report whether the unit is ready for a check in, especially arrivals denoted as having needed a priority cleaning.  Priority cleanings are units that have a reservation checking in and out on the same day.  Any reservations checking into a unit that had a departure on the same day will have a 'P', for priority cleaning, printed beside their arrival date.

You may print this report as often as is needed.  It is usually best to not print this report too far in advance, because it will become outdated as reservation information changes.

The "Status for Arrival Report" field in the control file controls the reservation types that will print on this report.  For example, if you do not want 'D' owner reservations to print, do not include a 'D' in the control file field "Status for Arrival Report".

This report can be printed in sequence of section and then within section in sequence of arrival date.  This means that reservations will first be grouped based on their unit's section.  Then the reservations within each section group will be arranged in sequence of their arrival date.  This report can also be printed in sequence of section and then within section in sequence of reservation name.  It can also be printed in sequence of arrival date and then within arrival date in sequence of reservation name.  You may also choose to print your arrival listings in sequence of arrival date and then within arrival date in sequence of unit number.

You have the option of printing the special description for the reservation.  This description is entered when the reservation is made.  The description will print below the arrival information causing the reservation to take up two print lines.  If there is not a special description for the reservation, the extra line will not be used.

There are several other options on this report which will change the look of the report and take up much more room.  Reservation balance, Ad source code, and reservation note information according to category may be printed on the arrival listing.

Other information which may print on the arrival listing includes:  History notes, number of adults and children, unit not information according to category specified, and check-in times which does include transportation mode.
