Block Unit

This screen allows you to:

Establish selected rental days for a unit as unrentable due to repairs or any other reason.  You may also decrease or remove previous entries.

Before you begin:

Choose the Block Unit for Maintenance option from the Reservation menu on the RMS Main menu or the Utilities Menu in the Maintenance system. The privilege to block a unit is controlled in the User Access Control settings.  It is also console specific.  This means you can allow specific users, via their user ID, to do the block. You can also set specific computers or workstations that are allowed to block off a unit for maintenance.  For more information on how to grant this privilege, see User Access Control

You must know the unit number or address that you wish to work with.

The range of dates requested must be available.  The system will not block a date that has been secured with a reservation.  If you wish to block-off a unit for a date that has been reserved, you must change or cancel the reservation.
