Cleaning Work Orders, Detail Report

This report is used for...

Printing an individual work order for cleanings needed within a requested time frame.

There are two reports that can be printed using this option, a summary report and individual work orders.  This section describes the individual work orders.  Only reservations that have a departure date within the requested date range will print on the report.

The individual cleaning work order is defined using the User Designed Reports option on the Utilities Menu.  The Cleaning Work Order report now uses HTML merge technology.  Users can specify the layout of this report as well as which unit and reservation note categories to include (defined in the control file). The special description entered when the reservation is made can be printed on this report.

Often the individual work orders are distributed to the cleaning staff and the summary page is kept.  This provides the cleaning staff with a form they can use in the field and leaves you with a copy of the cleanings that should be performed.  The page numbers of the work orders corresponds to the line numbers on the detail reports.  This feature enables the cleaning staff to quickly report a completed cleaning, only the page number needs to be referenced.

If a unit that needs to be cleaned has a reservation arriving on the same day, '***  PRIORITY  ***' will print on the cleaning work order.  This allows you to identify your priority cleanings; normally these cleanings would be performed first.  You may want to coordinate this report with the arrival report for the day.

The stock cleaning work order that comes with your system will have these fields:
