Early Arrival/Late Departure

 

This screen allows you to:

View or remove the status of reservations that have already been booked as early arrival or late departure.

         

Before you begin:

The early arrival feature requires that no other reservation is departing in the unit on the arrival date.  Also, early arrivals prevent any future reservations from departing on the arrival date entered.

The late departure feature requires that no other reservation is arriving in the unit on the departure date and no future reservations may be booked to arrive when the guest has scheduled a late departure.

This option in Reservation Maintenance should primarily be used to remove the early arrival or late departure status to clear the date for future bookings.

 

Go to the Reservations Menu, Reservation Maintenance.

Search:

Enter the reservation name or number to check the status or remove a late or early departure.

 

Reservation, Unit, Arrival and Departure:

The reservation information will display.

 

Early Arrival or Late Departure Status:

The check boxes will indicate the status. Uncheck to remove the status.

 

When using this option the user must then go to the View Reservation Screen and retrieve the unit.  A message may appear regarding whether the reservation is booked properly.

Allow the utility to rebook the reservation by clicking ‘OK’ when the message prompts and then select the ‘Fix’ button. Operators initials are required.

If you allow early arrivals and late departures you may want to use these merge tags in your confirmation or guest agreement:

**SR:EARLY.ARRIVAL**

**SR:LATE.DEPARTURE**
