The Resort Management System contains a complete General Ledger (GL) System. The GL system uses the double entry method of accounting, which adheres to the generally accepted accounting procedures of the accounting profession. You must have a working knowledge of double entry accounting to properly use the GL system. This section is not intended to teach you the details of accounting; however, it should provide you with a general understanding of accounting and how it is to be used in the Resort Management System. It is advised to consult your accountant on the usage of your GL system. Your accountant should be able to aid you in the setting up of your accounts and aid you in understanding the general usage of them. If you are unfamiliar with double entry accounting, it is strongly advised that you seek assistance from your accountant.
