Only transactions that have not been deposited may be edited. If the deposit report is printed and processed, and it contains the transaction you wanted to edit you will have to reverse the transaction. Only authorized users have access to this function. Authorization may be given by going to the Control File, User Access Control, Screen 3 and adding the user to the "Users allowed change/delete reservation transactions".
If the transaction has not been deposited an authorized user may:
1. Go to the View Reservation option on the Reservation menu and enter the reservation number that has transactions you want to delete or edit.
2. Click the "Trans" button at the bottom of the screen to view a list of transactions.
3. Double-click the transaction you would like to work with in the list that becomes available in the pop-up window.
4. An edit screen will become available with operator information, type of transaction (the type cannot be changed but you can delete the transaction), amount and comment.
5. Click in the text box of the value you want to change and edit the information and then press <Enter> on your keyboard. Use the delete button at the bottom of the window to completely delete the transaction if desired.
6. Click "OK" when finished.
7. Use the Esc key on your keyboard or right-click the mouse to escape the list of transactions and return to the View Reservations screen.
