License Agreement Report

 

This report is used for...

A statement to the renter of your rules and regulations.  The License Agreement can be mailed to the guest via e-mail or printed and sent.or it can be filed and used when the guest arrives.

The printing of this report is controlled by the print guest license agreement setting in the control file.  If this option is set to yes this report will print automatically when the Non-Processed Reservations Reports option is chosen on the Reservation Reports Menu.  A guest license report will print for all new reservations that have been booked since the last time the Non-Processed Reservations Reports option was chosen.  You can reprint this report for individual reservations by choosing the License Agreement option on the Reservation Reports Menu or choose the Prt/Email button on the View Reservation screen.

A guest license agreement will print for reservation types 'A' and 'B' and ‘CY’ reservations.

The Guest License Agreement is user defined using the Utilities Menu, User Designed Reports option. 

The Control File controls the date printed on the License Agreement.

Merge Tags:

Any merge tags can be used to embed data from RMS.

 

This would be an example of a basic header that is inserting the information from your control file.  The letter is prefaced by the <Pre> tag.

License Agreement Example:

 

1 It is understood that each unit is privately owned including the furnishings, with Your Company Name acting solely as Agent for the Owner.  The Guest(s) agree to compensate the owner for any damages caused by them.

2 Pets are not permitted under any circumstances in this rental unit.

3 Occupancy and use of premises and communal areas shall not be such as to disturb or offend guests or residents.  The agent has the prerogative to terminate this agreement and ask disruptive guest(s) to vacate the premises.

4 Guest(s) agree not to charge long distance calls on the owner's phone.  All long distance calls must be collect, credit card, or charged to a third number.

5 No power vehicle of any kind, including motorbikes, jeeps, etc.  may be driven on the beach.

6 Your Company Name, Inc. is not responsible for articles lost, stolen, or left behind in the unit.

7 Guest(s) agree that Your Company Name, Inc. or its agents may enter the premises for the purposes of effecting necessary repairs and/or maintenance or for other necessary purposes.

8 The guest(s) acknowledges and understands that he (she) is a licensee of the owner and not a tenant; and that he (she) is not acquiring any interest in the property.

9 The guest(s) acknowledges and understands that check-in time is NO EARLIER THAN 4:00 p.m. and that checkout time is NO LATER THAN 11:00 a.m.  A $25 per hour late charge will be charged for late departures.

10         The guest(s) acknowledges and understands that this reservation is only for the number of adults and children listed below.

11         Written cancellation of this reservation received by Your Company Name, Inc. less than 21 days prior to arrival will result in the loss of deposit.  Cancellations less than 72 hours prior to arrival will result in forfeiture of the balance.

12         Though seldom necessary, the rental address is subject to change.
