This screen allows you to:

Before you begin:
Choose the File Maintenance option from the Main Menu, and then choose the Control File option. Choose the Mail Information option, Screen 2.
Unlike other sections of this chapter, each screen item description will be discussed instead of each prompt. This is a slight variance from the normal explanation method and is done due to the uniqueness of the control file options.
Ask Inquiry Grade at Time of Inquiry:
If set to [Yes], the grade of the inquiry will be asked when a mail entry is made from the Reservation Menu. Inquiry grade codes are established using this screen. If set to [No] the inquiry grade will not be asked.
Inquiry grade codes:
This is a multi-valued field. Enter the valid codes that may be used for the inquiry grade in the mail file. A mailing file inquiry grade could be used to denote, for example, a 1 being a very interested inquiry and a 3 being a standard inquiry. These codes would primarily be used when using the Report Generator.
Inquiry grade descr:
This is a multi-valued field that corresponds to the above entries. The description for each code is entered in this field. Using the above example you would enter HIGHINT and STND.
Inquiry grade defaults:
This field establishes the default for the inquiry grade for the different type of reservations and places where mail entries can be entered. These defaults will automatically be used and can be overridden at reservation or mail entry time.
