The OPTIMUM screen appears first when you invoke The Resort Management System.

Enter User ID:
The Resort Management System is shipped with two standard user names established. To enter the Resort Management System enter the user id of RMS or RMS2 and press <Enter> or click on the [OK] button (consult with your system supervisor or your dealer if this user ID is invalid). User RMS2 has access to all menu options while user RMS is restricted from financial type processing. To exit to the operating system simply press <Enter> or click on the cancel button.
Password:
If you have activated the password security, you will be prompted to enter the correct password. No password is required with the system when shipped. If a password has been setup, type it in and press <Enter>. When you enter the password, no characters will be displayed. This feature ensures that others will not be able to read your password on the screen.
Enter today’s date:
It is very important to log in under the correct date. The date appears on all screens and most reports and is used as the posting date for many transactions. The default date will be the current date.
