Owner Reserves

 

 

This Screen allows you to:

Enter the dollar amount that remains in the owner’s account.  This amount may or may not be disbursed depending on the agreement with the owner.  This amount may initially be from a payment by the owner or can be fulfilled by the owner’s income when income is earned during the Finalize Owner Statement process.

 

Before you begin:

Go to the Accounting Menu off the RMS Main Menu and choose Owner Reserves.

 

Prompt Descriptions:

 

Unit Number:

Enter the unit number or property address of the unit to work with.  Some unit information will be displayed.  This information is generated from the Unit file and can only be edited there.

 

Reserve Method: [Hold All] or [Fixed Amount]

Choose [Hold All] if no money is paid to owner after owner statements are finalized.

Choose [Fixed Amount] to always keep a set amount in reserve.

 

Minimum Reserve:

Enter a minimum amount to always keep in reserve.

 

Transaction Date:

Enter the date of the transaction or press [Current] to use the computer’s date
