Rental Income

Rental income originates from the making of reservations.  A reservation must have been paid for entirely before it will be printed on the statement.  Any unpaid reservations will print on the Statement Exception Report and must be cleared up before they can be finalized. Each reservation on the statement will show the arrival date, departure date, reservation number, status and dollar amounts.  The amounts start with the gross rental amount.  This amount does not include any taxes, equipment rentals, other charges, reservation fees or amenity fees.  It is solely the gross rental amount.  The cleaning charge, credit card discount, referral fee and commission are deducted from the gross amount producing the net to the owner.  Not all reservations necessarily have all of these charges.  Refer to the reservations section to determine how these charges are entered.
