When the guest arrives the front desk can check the Unit Clean Status to see if the unit is ready for arrival. If the Unit is NOT clean the front desk can choose the [Guest] option.

Click [Guest] to select a control file defined guest option. A List Display of the valid guest options will be displayed. This is not a clean status and does not affect the current clean status of the unit. This information is removed automatically when the unit status is changed to occupied. This option must be chosen to text guest. To enable the guest texting feature you simply change the unit status to "Guest arrived", then when the unit status changes to clean it triggers the text. An example would be if a guest calls you and says "I am 15 minutes away." You would set the status to "guest arrived", and when you cleaners notify you that the unit is clean, changing the clean status to clean would trigger the text.
Comment code: Guest arrived
Use if guest has arrived. The guest text phone field will become available. If a cellphone is on file the field will display the cell phone.
Comment code: Guest in unit
Use if the guest has arrived and is allowed in the unit to drop off luggage. It is not required that this comment code be used.
Guest Text Phone
Enter the guests cell phone if different than the one on file that you want to send a predetermined text when the unit status is changed from dirty to clean and inspected.
