This screen allows you to:
Add, change or delete unit inventory information.
Before you begin:
Choose the Unit Inventory File option from the Files Menu and Click Custom Fields.
This is the third tab in the Unit Inventory File. The custom labels for this screen are set on the Unit Inventory Custom Fields option in the Control File. The length of the field is also set in the Control File. Fields 16-20 may contain up to 200 characters. These long fields are suitable for urls. Use the appropriate merge tag and “insert link” button to insert a hyperlink into your letter.

These field labels and the values that can be stored in the fields are determined in the Control File, Unit Inventory Custom Fields settings.
Some examples of usage of these fields might be for information to be inserted in User Designed Letters that is relevant to the Unit. Sometimes these fields are used when custom programming a unit detail page for a website.
Fields 16-20 allow up to 200 characters and are suitable for urls/weblinks relevant to the Unit. An example of usage is storing the url for the pdf directions to a house. The pdf is uploaded to RMSFILES\Online Content via File Manager. The link to the pdf is entered in the Unit Inventory File.
[OK], [Cancel], or [Delete]:
Click in the field beside the item you wish to change and modify the value.
Click [Cancel] to abandon any changes made to this unit inventory record.
Click [OK] to update any changes made to this unit inventory record. This option saves a new entry or any changes made to an existing entry.
Click [Delete] to delete this entry.
Click a Tab to transfer to another screen of unit inventory file.
The system will return to the first prompt after clicking [Cancel], [OK] or [Delete].
