Unit Inventory Details

 

This screen allows you to:

Add, change or delete unit inventory information.

 

Before you begin:

Choose the Unit Inventory File option from the Files Menu.

This file is a supplementary file to the unit file.  It is not required that this file be used.  You may enter information for one unit, some units or all units.

The unit must exist in the unit file before it can be added to this file.

Unit ID:

Enter unit number or [Exit]:

Enter the unit number of the unit you wish to add, change or delete or select it from the list using the Show all button to see a list of existing units.

To retrieve existing unit inventory information you may enter the unit number or any word in the unit address in the Search text box.

If the unit number entered exists in this file, the information will be displayed.

You may click [Cancel] to exit this screen.

 

General Information

 

Entered system:

RMS will automatically enter the current date for a new entry. 

 

Enter last annual inspection date:

RMS will automatically enter the current date for a new entry.  This may be modified if needed.  Enter the date of the last annual inspection. 

 

Enter type of contract:

This is a two character code to denote the type of rental contract this unit is under.  Some companies have different contracts for the different services they provide.  It is best to designate a standard code for each contract type. Information is not required.

Enter the two character code or simply press <Tab> if you do not require this information.

 

Left System:

Enter the date the unit left your program if applicable.

 

Enter last annual cleaning date:

Enter the date of the last annual cleaning.  RMS will default to the current date.

 

Unit manager:

Select a unit manager from the list of available managers in the system.  The unit manager status is determined in the Operator’s Initials file.

         

Unit Qual:

Enter the Unit quality value if applicable.  This must be a value stored in the Control File, Clean Status Unit Inventory Information file.

 

Qual Date:

Enter the date the Unit was rated.

 

Sort:

The sort value is internal and automatically determined.

 

Basic Inventory

Elevator:

Enter Y or N indicating yes or no.

 

Fireplace:

Enter Y or N indicating yes or no.

 

Category:

Enter an internal code such as condo, villa or house, any alpha value.

 

Sq. Footage:

Enter a numeric value of measurement.

 

Whirlpool:

Enter y or n for yes or no.

 

Televisions:

Enter the number of TVs.

 

Grill:

Enter y or n for yes or no.

 

Steps:

Enter the number of steps.

Snap sort code:

Call AMS, Inc. if interested in this option.

Special note:

Call AMS, Inc. if interested in this option.

Location:

This is an internal value set by RMS.

Office site:

Select from the list of available sites as entered in the Clean Status Unit Inventory Information file.

 

[OK], [Cancel], or [Delete]:

Click in the field beside the item you wish to change and modify the value.

Click [Cancel] to abandon any changes made to this unit inventory record. 

Click [OK] to update any changes made to this unit inventory record.  This option saves a new entry or any changes made to an existing entry.

Click [Delete] to delete this entry.

Click a Tab to transfer to another screen of unit inventory file.

The system will return to the first prompt after clicking [Cancel], [OK] or [Delete].
