This screen allows you to:
Select the available unit you wish to book.
Display additional information about the units displayed.
Print a list of available units for a specific range of dates.
Before you begin:
This screen is a supplement to the Reservation by Search screen.
This screen will display up to 19 units at one time. Use your movement keys to view additional units.
The unit information displayed on this screen comes from the unit file information entered using the Unit File option on the Files Menu.
There are two ways to select a unit. First, you can position the highlight bar on the desired unit using your movement keys, then press <Enter>. Second, you can double-click the desired unit with your mouse. Upon choosing a unit, the Information on the Unit Select screen will automatically follow this screen.
[Print]:
Click the print button to print the list of available units.
[Info]:
The info button allows you to display system notes from the Unit Select List screen.

Click to view photos associated with the unit.

These are the labels on the upper, non-scrolling portion of the select list.
Arr:
The arrival date requested.
Dep:
The departure date requested.
Num BR:
The number of bedrooms requested.
Section:
The section requested.
Location:
The location requested.
Package:
The package status requested.
User Defined Search Fields:
Those optional search fields defined in the control file and the values requested will be displayed.
These labels are for the scrolling list of units that meet the search criteria.
Property address:
The property address for the unit. In order to conserve space on the display line, only the left most 20 characters of this field are displayed.
Sec:
The section abbreviation for the unit.
Loc:
The location abbreviation for the unit.
VW:
The view from the unit.
MX:
The maximum number of people allowed to stay in the unit.
B:
The number of bedrooms in the unit.
L:
The lower bedroom status for the unit. This letter represents when a unit may be rented for one less bedroom than the unit physically has. Usually in this case a bedroom is locked off and the rental rate is reduced.
Beds:
The sleeping accommodations for the unit. This information is not controlled by the system, but normally the values describe the sizes of the beds in the unit. For example, K, K, T, D would mean 2 king-size beds, a twin-size bed, and a double size bed.
SS:
The sleeper sofa status for the unit. Normally a ‘Y’ means the unit has a sleeper sofa, ‘N’ means the unit does not have a sleeper sofa or a number denotes the number of sleeper sofas the unit has.
Week and Day:
The rental rates for the unit. These rates are for the season matching the arrival date requested
Rnt:
The number of nights the unit has been rented for the year of arrival. The units shown will be sorted in sequence of fewest nights rented first. This field can be used as an aid in evenly distributing the reservations among the units that are available.
Area:
The area of the unit is listed. This information comes from the unit file.
Ref:
The number of nights the unit has been rented as a referral reservation for the year of arrival. The number of nights rented includes the number of nights rented as a referral reservation. This field can be used as an aid in evenly distributing referral reservations among the units that are available.
Unit Number:
The unit number of the unit being displayed.
Special Note:
This information comes from the unit inventory file.
Deposit:
The percentage of rental deposit required.
Bch:
This label in the unit file is user defined. For example, it may list the distance from the beach.
Pool:
This label in the unit file is user defined. For example, it may list the distance from the pool.
Other:
Many of the remaining labels are from information stored in the unit inventory file.
