User Defined Search Values

 

This screen allows you to:

Enter new User Defined Search Values and change or delete existing ones.

 

Before you begin:

Choose the User Defined Search File option from the Files Menu.

The User Defined Search file is used to assist you in searching for units that you have labeled with User Defined Search Fields.  These assignments are made in the Unit File.

Search:

Enter a search value, such as the ID or description of a User Defined Search Values to modify and click GO

 

Show all:

This option displays a list of existing items on file.  Choose from the select list displayed when choosing the Show all option.  Highlight the item and press <Enter> or double-click to retrieve the record. 

New:

Click this option to create a new User Defined Search Value.  Enter the ID of the item you wish to create. For example, if one of your User Defined Fields is View then you might enter several values to describe the different views of your property: "OF", "NOF","MV" and so on for Ocean Front, non Ocean Front or Mountain View.

 

Click [Exit] to exit this screen and return to the Files Menu.

 

Enter Description:

Enter the description of this item.  You are allowed a maximum of 30 characters.

 

[OK], [Cancel] or [Delete]:

Click [Cancel] to abandon any changes made to this item.  If a new User Defined Search Value was entered it will not be placed into the system if this option is chosen.

Click [OK] to update any changes made.  This option saves a new User Defined Search Value or any changes made to an existing one.

Click [Delete] to delete the User Defined Search Value.
