View Release Locks

This screen allows you to:

Run a utility which displays locks RMS is using and release or delete locks.

Before you begin:

Locks in RMS protect your data in the multi-process, multi-user environment.  It is important that valid locks are not deleted. 

Go to Help from the RMS Main Menu.  Choose View/Release Locks.  If there are outstanding locks, RMS will find them and display them in the list.  If there are no locks the msg, "There are No outstanding locks currently in place" will display.

[Unlock]; [Unlock All]; [Exit] :

Choose the item to unlock by highlighting it in the list and then choose [Unlock].

Choose [Unlock All] to unlock all items in the list.
