RMS Help is packed full of information that you can use to learn about the Resort Management System and how to use it in your business. You will find three tabs when you open the Help files: Contents, Index and Search.
The Contents tab allows you to see the Table of Contents of the entire Help system. You will see a number of books. Each book is divided into more books and topics all about RMS. You will want to check out the Concepts book if you are new to RMS. Many topics in Concepts contain jumps to the Screens book. A "jump" is similar to a hypertext link on the web that you click and it takes you to another page. RMS Help will display "jumps" in a different color. You can click on the word and it will take you to the topic associated with that word. The Screens book contains more books and topics that explain each item and button on the screen and how it works. If you want to learn about something, read the topic in Concepts. If you want to learn "how to" do something, then read about it in Screens.
An easy way to look items up in RMS is by clicking on the Index tab and typing in a word or phrase that you want to learn more about. Every topic in RMS is listed in the index so if you don’t know where to find it try the index.
The Search tab allows you to look for any word contained in RMS Help. It does not have to be a topic to be included in your search.
